One Nation Stitch Along - 1776 & 2026

Well hello May! Sorry guys - I didn't get to make a video in April. All is well here, but it was a doozy of a month. The kids had Spring Break, then we rolled into our open house week at the store, followed by a visit from my mom to celebrate her birthday (Hi Mom!). I knew the only time I had to make April's video would be the last week of the month, but then I got sick. Just a respiratory thing but it was a rough one. I'm still coughing a lot and I'll spare you the rest of the details but I'm on the mend so an April video was not in the cards. I have lots to share so as soon as I get back up to full speed, I'll be back!
However, I didn't want the month to go by without a progress report on my One Nation SAL. I've modified my own schedule a bit so I could hop down and finish up the personalization for "1776" and "2026".

Since I hopped down the bottom I started worrying that I wasn't gonna line up the frame so I stitched the rest of the outline around the blue sections and migrated down the bottom row and whoo hoo! Everything matched up! When I was putting in the last few stitches I told my son, this was the moment of truth but I don't think he felt the same dramatic build of the moment. LOL!
When the frame was all in I went into autopilot mode and decided to stitch out the rest of the red/white lines in the flags. I wanted to put the white in before the red so I sort of just made sense at that point. So although I was supposed to be down to Idaho at this point, I have the bones in for all the states and I'm pretty sure I can get all the states in by the end of May. My fingers are crossed!

I hope you're all enjoying this stitch as much as I am? If you're looking for any supplies for this SAL we recently had shipments for all the floss, cloth and patterns.

I'm also itching to start "A Worthy Patriot" by Plum Street Samplers. Our supplies are finally in so we'll be shipping the kit per-orders next week. I think I'm going to break this one up into parts so I can finish it up by the end of the year. I have more details on that later. If you're looking for supplies for this one, click here.

As always, I hope this inspires you to make something today!
