Are you ready for a little Hocus Pocus?
This was the sample quilt I made for the Quilt Spot's Hocus Pocus Block of the Month featuring Tim Holtz fabric. The pattern is Hocus Pocus by Corinne Savoy. The program sold out but you can still by the pattern!
Here's an oldie but a goodie! This is was a mix of fabric collections from my stash. I can't remember the pattern name, but if I can track it down, I'll update this post.
This one is Chamomile by Woodberry Way made in a mix of low volume Halloween fabrics. This was a finish this year. I think I made it last year but didn't actually finish it until a week or so ago. I love this pattern. It's such a fun quick and easy sew and looks great in other low volumes. I might need to make a Christmas version.
Here are some stitch projects. I stitched most of these last year but finished them up this year. I don't have color changes written down, but for the most part, I change anything purple to pink.
These are some of Lori Holt's Stitch Card F.
This is from Stitching With the Housewives. This is the small from the October Calendar Crates.
This was the mystery stitch along hosted by Hands On Designs in 2023. The pattern is called The Costume Party.
This is an oldie but a goodie. I think it was from an old Punch Needle Magazine but I don't remember the name of the pattern, but I know it's a Barbara Ana Design.
Okay, now it's WIP confessional time......
This was a WIP from last year that I wanted to finish up this year, but forgot about it! So now it will be on next year's to do list. I have a slight Candy Corn obsession and I found this adorable Candy Corn foundation paper piecing pattern on Etsy by Center Street Quilts.
I have a super cute plan for this one, but I have about 20 of these done and I think I need 35 for what's in my mind. Stay tuned....
And last but not least, I started another No Points Star quilt using up my Orange, Black and White fabrics from my stash. I have made a Red, White & Blue version of this quilt and I actually finished up my Christmas version a couple weeks ago. I'll share more details on those in a future post, but I was so excited that I finished Christmas I dove head first into making a Halloween Version. I actually got pretty close to finishing all the blocks. I think I only have 6 more to go, I think I'm going to finish up those blocks and trim them, but then I'll put them away until next August or so. It will be fun to have a new finish for Halloween next year.
This is a free pattern on Cluck Cluck Sew's website. Here's a link to where you can find it.
If I've made it twice and now I'm on a third, you know it's a good one! I actually want to make another one, but I'm not sure what colors I want to do next....maybe "spring" low volumes and soft hues? Any suggestions?
I hope this inspires you to make something today!
Happy Sewing!
