I made it! Just in time! Phew! I have hustled a few things this month to get this post and video out to you by Valentine's Day! Yay!!!!
It's still cold here in New Jersey, but the temperatures went above freezing this week and we all think it's Spring at a balmy 40....HA!
First up! I made another VIDEO! This time it went a little smoother-ish, but I still have a lot to learn. The lighting is still a little weird but the new microphone seems to be good so I'm counting these as baby step improvements.
Next up - One Nation Progress!
This one is still a love! I added North Carolina and Rhode Island. I'm trying to stitch the white areas before I stitch the red to make sure they stay white. I don't think anyone will notice but I might so I figured I'd point it out.

Â
I also hopped down the the bottom row so I could show you guys where I plan on re-charting the bottom row so you can add "1776" and "2026". I wanted to get this done before this post but alas, time got away from me. I want to commemorate the year and you probably do too so I'm going to take out the center stars on each section and add the years. If you click the image below you can print this off in you need it. I'll post more pictures on Instagram when I have more progress to show.

Next Up - Valentine's Day!

These hearts are a free pattern on Lella Boutique's Blog. They turned out sooo cute! To find her blog post, click here.
The other stitch is a small freebie from Hands on Design. This was so cute and I put a pocket in the back just like Cathy has in her design so it's the perfect little guy for V Day! To find Cathy's blog click here.
Free Cross Stitch Chart! XOXO

XOXO!!!! I love working with stripes. I love how they can make other shapes and merge lines so your eyes follow a second path. This Tula Pink Fabric is one of my favorites. It used to be taboo to put pink and red together but I LOVE IT! This chart was something I couldn't get out of my mind so here it is! The pom poms are a little extra but I couldn't help myself.

A Quilting Life Block of the Month 2026
Here's Month 2! The original block design had a lot of white space so I added in the blue.

To find Sherri's blog post and the free Sew Along Patterns, click here.
I'm using this fat eighth bundle and 3 yards of Pearl (13529-21). This a mystery so I'll figure out the rest of the fabrics for the sashing, border and binding when we get closer to the end.

Scrappy House Sew Along
I'm on track to make two quilts! I'm doing a scrappy version and a red, white & blue version. The ladies told me a I need to add a flag block to my red white and blue version so I obliged. I'll write up the pattern for you guys, stay tuned!

Ok, it's time to eat dinner here so I'll have to stop here, but there is so much more in the video. If you have time, take a gander!
As always, I hope this inspires you to make something today!
